From end of March to end of October, Lourdes Sanctuary knows a full non-stop activity. Pilgrimages from every nation live harmoniously together and follow one another according to a specific calendar.

On February 11th, anniversary of the first apparition, stands the great Feast of ‘Notre Dame de Lourdes’, proclaimed by Pope John-Paul II ‘ the World Day of ill persons’ to mark that spiritual vocation of Lourdes.

Every religious feast, especially The Immaculate Conception draws numerous crowds to Lourdes.

YOUR PILGRIMAGE

Masses: in every language, according to daily schedule or for specific pilgrimages, seventy daily masses-average, in forty places of worship that the Sanctuary offers. International masses during the Official season are being celebrated on Wednesdays and Sundays at 9.00 in St PiusX basilica that can welcome up to 30 000 faithful.

A Pilgrimage Programme is already set with :
       The Grotto of apparitions where many celebrations take place.

       Well known daily processions

The organisation of “one-day pilgrim” offers from 8.30 a pilgrimage day to lonely pilgrims. In a few hours, you learn the essential of Lourdes History and live high moments that regulate life at the sanctuary.
